The SUNY Adirondack Foundation will hold the 30th annual Lyman A. Beeman Jr. Golf Tournament on May 31 at Hiland Golf Club, Haviland Road in Queensbury.

The event will kick off with a free golf clinic led by SUNY Adirondack Golf Team Coach Michael Carpenter at 11:30 a.m.  Registration and lunch run from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm when the shotgun start begins.  The format is a four-person scramble.  Prizes are awarded for low gross, the top three low net scores, the women’s team with the lowest net score, longest drive, and closest to the pin.

The entry fee is $160 per player or $640 for a foursome with carts. The golf outing includes a barbecue lunch, beverages, cocktail reception and awards ceremony.

The deadline to enter is May 24.

Miller Mechanical, also celebrating a 30th anniversary, is the lead sponsor of the tournament.

Proceeds from the event support scholarship programs at SUNY Adirondack. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Registrations are now being accepted.
