QUEENSBURY, New York (March 17, 2026) — Students, job seekers and employers are invited to join SUNY Adirondack at its Spring 2026 Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, in Northwest Bay Conference Center, 640 Bay Road.
More than 50 regional employers will attend the event, which is free and open to the public.
“Events like the Job Fair create a direct connection between our students, community members and the many employers who are eager to hire in our region,” said Sheila Morton, assistant director of Student Success at SUNY Adirondack. “Whether someone is looking for a first job, a summer position or the next step in their career, this is a great opportunity to meet face to face with employers, learn about local opportunities and start building those important professional connections.”
Employers confirmed to attend include Aim Services, Albany Medical Center, Arrow Financial Corporation, ASCEND Mental Wellness, Center for Disability Services, Glens Falls Hospital, GlobalFoundries, Hudson Headwaters Health Network, Lake George Steamboat Co. and dozens of others.
In December, the state Department of Labor reported a statewide unemployment rate of 4.4 percent. In Glens Falls, the rate is 3.9 percent in Glens Falls and, in the Albany-Schenectady-Troy area, 3.3 percent. In Saratoga County, the rate was 2.9 percent; 4.2 percent in Warren County; and 3.6 percent in Washington County.
The region traditionally sees a boost in job availability surrounding summer tourism, when year-round restaurants, stores and attractions see boosts in business and increase staff, and seasonal businesses open.
Employers interested in tabling at the event can apply by completing a registration form.
