As a JED campus, SUNY Adirondack is on a strategic journey to assess and enhance mental health and well-being initiatives to create positive, lasting change that prioritizes wellness in the campus community.
This program provides a framework for supporting student mental health, assessment tools, feedback, a strategic plan and continued support from JED.
What is JED?
The JED Foundation is a nonprofit organization that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for young adults, giving them necessary skills to thrive.
JED is a nationwide initiative designed to help colleges evaluate and strengthen their mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention programs to provide strong mental health support systems for students.
