This microcredential provides students with a solid foundation in sanitation and food preparation.
Required courses include:
- CUL 125 Sanitation OR ServSafe Food Safety OR
- SBUS 116 ServSafe Food Handler or Food Manager Certification
AND
- CUL 127 Basic Food Preparation I
- CUL 130 Introduction to Baking Techniques
This microcredential:
- Comprises seven credits;
- Is able to be completed in one semester;
- Costs $240 a credit, or a total of $1,680, plus textbooks and college fees
These credits are stackable to:
- Culinary and Baking Arts Associate in Occupational Studies;
- Culinary Arts Associate in Applied Science;
- Culinary certificate
