Culinary and Baking Fundamentals I

Learn the fundamentals to find success in a commercial kitchen.

This microcredential provides students with a solid foundation in sanitation and food preparation.

Required courses include:

  • CUL 125 Sanitation OR ServSafe Food Safety OR
  • SBUS 116 ServSafe Food Handler or Food Manager Certification 

AND

  • CUL 127 Basic Food Preparation I
  • CUL 130 Introduction to Baking Techniques

This microcredential:

  • Comprises seven credits;
  • Is able to be completed in one semester;
  • Costs $240 a credit, or a total of $1,680, plus textbooks and college fees
