Technician Fundamentals — Industrial Technician II

Build on your technical foundation and advance your career with the Technician Fundamentals — Industrial Technician II microcredential.

This microcredential focuses on intermediate skills in industrial systems and maintenance to prepare you for an exciting career.

Required courses are:

  • CPRP 404 HVAC/R Boot Camp (Students in this class are eligible to take EPA 608 test and gain OSHA 10 certification.)
    OR
  • CPRP 274 Industrial Maintenance Boot Camp

AND

  • TEC 103 Electrical Systems and Distribution
  • TEC 178A Boot Camp Internship
  • CIS 131 Introduction to Networking

This microcredential:

  • Comprises 10 credits;
  • Is able to be completed in two semesters;
  • Costs $240 per credit, or a total of $2,400 plus textbooks and college fees

Note: Students must successfully complete CPRP 404 or CPRP 274 to earn TEC 101 advanced standing credit. CPRP 404/474 are offered on an on-demand basis through the college's Continuing Education department.
