Registration Dates for the academic year can be found below.

CURRENT STUDENTS

Current SUNY Adirondack students receive priority registration, both online through Banner and in person at the Registrar’s Office. Priority is given by accumulated credits (not including the current semester).

Current Students should contact the Academic Advisement/Student Success Office for Advisement and Registration Information.

NEW STUDENTS

New First-Year and Transfer students will register for classes at Accepted Student Day. After the new student has attended an Accepted Student Day, they should contact the Academic Advisement/Student Success Office for Advisement and Registration Information.

RETURNING STUDENTS

Open Registration for Returning students (previously enrolled students with at least one semester break in attendance) wishing to return to SUNY Adirondack may register after Priority Registration. Returning students must complete a Returning Student Form available at the Student Success Center.

NON-MATRICULATED STUDENTS

Non-Matriculated students may only take up to 11 credits in a semester and may only earn a maximum of 18 credits prior to matriculation. Non-Matriculated students are not eligible for financial aid. Non-Matriculated students should submit a Registration Form for Non-Matriculated Students for the classes they want to take. The form is available in the Registrar Forms section below. Once completed and all required documentation or proof of prerequisites is gathered, the form can be mailed, emailed, or faxed to the Office of Records and Registration/Registrar including a copy of photo identification for the student. The contact information is listed on the top of the form.

A Non-Matriculated student looking to matriculate into a degree program, must apply for admission to SUNY Adirondack.  Students seeking to matriculate can find all the information needed to apply for admission to SUNY Adirondack on the SUNY Adirondack Admissions Page.

CROSS REGISTERED STUDENTS

Students looking to cross register at SUNY Adirondack from another SUNY campus via the SUNY Cross Registration process, should review the SUNY Student Mobility site prior to submitting Non-Matriculated Student information.
