How to Get Help

Need help logging in?

For assistance with your username and password, or if you are receiving an error message when you try to log in, please contact the SUNY Adirondack help desk at 518.743.2226 or email help@sunyacc.edu.

For questions or concerns about the Book Smart program at SUNY Adirondack, please contact the campus bookstore at bookstore@sunyacc.edu.

Barnes & Noble's Customer Care is also available to help students with questions about accessing their course material or using their eTextbook. Customer Care hours and contact information is available here.

For navigation and technical support please contact the SUNY Online Help Desk. They can assist students with Brightspace after business hours and on weekends. 

  • Scroll down the SUNY Online Help Desk page to the Contact Us section

  • To speak to a representative during their support hours, click on Call Us.

  • To place a written request any time:

    • Click Create A Support Request

    • Then click Submit a Help Ticket and Request Service

    • A representative will follow up with you when their offices reopen.

  • You can also Search Your Support Tickets to view your current or past ticket submissions.

To help us help you:

  • Note that you are from SUNY Adirondack

  • Be as specific as possible about the problem you are experiencing.

  • Include your course names or CRN codes

  • Copy and paste any error messages you received into your help request

  • Consider taking a quick screenshot to include in your help request.

Students may also contact the Compass Office for general assistance navigating Brightspace during business hours. You can contact them by email at compass@sunyacc.edu or by text 518-832-5107 (TEXT ONLY) during business hours (Monday- Friday 8 am to 4 pm).
